This project is uniquely located on a land peninsula extending over Lake Ray Hubbard, a 22,745-acre, fresh water lake providing water and recreational usage to North Texas communities. The property sits across the bridge on Interstate I-30 from Bass Pro Shop. The hotel will have panoramic views of the Lake and its shores. Bayside will be a destination resort development fusing luxury living, shopping and entertainment in a uniquely sophisticated lakefront urban environment. The greater Bayside development will include lodging demand generators upon completion with anticipated office, retail, and entertainment venues.

 

With its fast-expanding and diversified market, the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been on the radar of hotel owners and investors for several years. Since 2007, 175 hotels opened in this market, with the majority opening during and just after the recession as financing already had been secured. During the recession, hotel supply tapered of due to the lack of financing. This allowed hotels to ramp up occupancy levels.
